We Participated in the Observation Tour of Suvarnabhumi International Airport, BKK, in Thailand!

This time, I went to Thailand for observation tour of Suvarnabhumi International Airport as known as BKK with colleagues.
In the plane going to BKK, there was a baby who just didn’t stop crying. Even flight attendants couldn’t soothe him, but one of our colleagues went to talk to the baby. And surprisingly, right after she went to soothe him, he stopped crying. That left me a huge impression on me that we are always capable of helping customers even when we aren’t clocked in. We all have different skillsets to be utilized in different situations arise.
The next day, we were able to observe the airport. Getting inside the office and restricted areas where the actual operations are taking place was so exciting and fresh in mind since it was very different from the Narita. The supervisor leading the tour answered many questions from us. Learning the situations and actually seeing the operations there convinced me how hard it is to keep “Japanese Quality” in the foreign airport.
Other than the observation tour, we had chances to see the Bangkok city and Historic City of Ayutthaya, a World Heritage Site. I was able to communicate with colleagues who I rarely have chance to meet in daily work through this tour. I am so grateful to have such an opportunity and I will implement the knowledge and experience I learned through this tour on my daily work.
