Interview for Crew Care Staff: Ms. Iwashita

I currently work as a crew care staff at the Narita Airport. My job as a crew care staff is delivering the GD, general declaration, which is essential document for flights, and escorting flight crews for arrivals and departures. Being able to see airplanes in close sight and have conversations with crews about planes and foreign countries make me look forward to my workday. Also, relationships in the workplace are very positive. We show strong teamwork by helping each other. I would like to keep working with my coworkers joyously and vibrantly.

Interview on Airport Staff: Mr. Tonomura

The word which represents the work I do is “growth”. After experiencing jobs in different industries, working in the airport feels very exciting and fresh for me. Here at the Narita Airport, I am given chances to communicate with people coming from different countries and it creates chances to improve my English skills. Also, preparing the GD and doing jobs that have huge responsibility on the operations of flight help me level up my leadership skills. Fortunately, I am given a position to control the operations of Crew Care and its training programs. I am always looking for new knowledge, skills, and mindsets to improve while receiving supports and training from instructors. Working in the aviation industry puts pressures on me. However, I take it as opportunities to learn new skillsets and build the mental fortitude. I feel very grateful to be able to work at the Narita Airport, the entrance of Japan.
